Strategic Systems Auditing Cases

KPMG and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
2000
This material provides an extensive overview of the strategic-systems approach to auditing. There are eight cases from six different industries, as well as a summary of the learning objectives for each case. For all of the cases, students are required to conduct a strategic analysis of the organization in order to develop a basic mental model allowing them to understand why the organization must execute certain business processes to sustain its value proposition.
